LL Cool J is hard as hell.
Well, we made it through another SXSW alive -- and not without seeing some of the best performances we'd seen all weekend on Saturday night.

So, on that note, after the jump, we once more hit the ol' 140-character show review model we've been trusting all week to evaluate what we saw. Join us, yeah?
Mind Spiders at Easy Tiger
Kinda supergroup-ish Denton punk rock five-piece offers killer blend of retro and garage-pop to its eager crowds in rare show. Band's legit.

Bad Sports at Easy Tiger
Now half-Denton, half-Austin punk trio showcases both new and old songs, once again proves itself one of Texas' best-kept punk rock secrets.

Strange Boys at Mohawk Patio
Austin-based, Dallas-born sons of Bob's Steak & Chop House dude sound truly from another time with anguish-filled retro pop. Cardigans help.

Curren$y at Buffalo Billiard's Bungalow
New Orleans rapper has Cali slacker appear, as well as interesting flow and rhymes. But his stage show? Weak as hell. Crowd feigns interest.

Big K.R.I.T. at Buffalo Billiard's Bungalow
Buzzy rapper doesn't need gimmicks to make live show work. His high energy and stage diving scores -- but he still surprises with live band.

Odd Future at Buffalo Billiard's Bungalow
Buzziest rap collective at SXSW finally plays official showcase, but can't believe industry types aren't hype. Show's only 10 minutes. Swag?

Z-Trip with LL Cool J at Red Bull Thre3style Event
Legendary DJ needs no help to please crowds. But he still brings out LL for some live mashup madness. Crowd can barely handle the greatness.
