Giveaway: Two Pairs of Tickets to See People on Vacation's Dallas Debut Tomorrow Night at the House of Blues' Cambridge Room

We've already mentioned -- more than a few times -- the show happening tomorrow night in the House of Blues' Cambridge Room. Did so earlier today, even.

For decent reason, we think: Hey, it's not every day that a side project featuring the most recognizable faces of two well-liked area bands has its local live debut. And yet that's just what's happening tomorrow night, as People on Vacation, the new project from Bowling for Soup's Jaret Reddick and Smile Smile's Ryan Hamilton, makes their first area bow. (For what it's worth, their first ever gig came last night in Austin, and their second will come tonight in Houston -- so this will be the band's third show.)

And no matter where you stand on either of the two main People on Vacation members' other bands -- or, hell, even the new project's early output -- the fact is, this project's just straight-up interesting. It's at least sparked our curiosity, if nothing else. Maybe yours, too? I guess we're about to find out.

In anticipation for tomorrow night's show, which will also feature Air Review, Tori Vasquez, Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet, the -- ahem -- people in People on Vacation have passed along a couple free pairs of passes to the gig, for us in turn to hand out to some lucky DC9 readers.
