Poster of the Week: Wu-Tang Clan at the Granada Theater

C'mon, now. That's just awesome.

Once again, courtesy of those delightful designers over Magnificent Beard, comes this week's winning design, which takes a fairly simplistic concept, turns it on its head, and makes you want to bang your head against the wall for not coming up with it first.

In today's media-centric world, of course it makes sense to present the nine members of the Wu-Tang Clan as a DVD box set, right? Add in the fact that one disc is missing -- Ol' Dirty Bastards, for obvious reasons -- and it's also a statement about how disposable these kinds of collectibles are. (We'll pardon MB for still including RZA's spot in the box set; his decision to cancel his participation in this tour came just this week.)

Even better, all the pertinent details are included, even the unavoidable Wu-Tang logo, in the set's packaging, leaving the rest of the poster's design available for some always welcome empty space.

All in all, just a phenomenal design.
