If you've heard Taylor Young and John Pedigo perform as The O's before, you've probably enjoyed their folky pop, as best heard thus far on their 2007 debut full-length, We Are The O's. And, if you've seen them live, you've probably enjoyed the hell out of oft-drunken onstange antics.
Tomorrow night, you can see them again -- the duo performs with The Orbans and Sarah Jaffe tomorrow night at the Jack Daniel's Saloon at Gilley's as part of KKXT-91.7 FM KXT's one-year anniversary bash. And, in early February, the duo will release their eagerly-anticipated second album, Between the Two.
Young, who is also drumming The Polyphonic Spree, THe BAcksliders and Calhoun these days, recently took some time out to talk to DC9 about the first shows he ever saw. And, for good measure, he talked some about the first O's show, too.
In all, it's some brag-worthy material -- especially if you're a boy band fan or a grunge archivist. Check out Young's first shows after the jump.

New Kids On The Block. Wow. My sister was a female at the age of 12 (I was 9), so it was only a matter of time. I was along for the ride, and I don't remember which one was my favorite.
What was the first show you saw with your own money?
Lollapalooza 1994. The Breeders, Beastie Boys, Nick Cave, Smashing Pumpkins, L7, George Clinton, Tribe Called Quest and Green Day. I was 13, and it was totally awesome and mind-blowing. I remember clove cigarettes and the mosh pit when the Beastie Boys started.
Do you remember the first O's show? What was it like?
It was at Barcadia, outside on the patio. And, yes, I remember it very well. I think there were about a thousand people there. We sold about a grand in merch and got a commercial out of it. At least that's the way I remember it.
