Good Friday: Black Friday Edition
And if you haven't already spent all of your Black Friday money, here are some other shows, starting with the ones we've already mentioned this week.
Tonight, Eleven Hundred Springs will perform at Dan's Silverleaf, and STEW! will be at The Boiler Room with Hello Lover. Austin singer-songwriter Bob Schneider will be at the House Of Blues.
On Saturday, The Rocket Summer plays at The Prophet Bar, along with a surprise opening act, and Young Jeezy will perform at the Palladium Ballroom.
More show announcements after the jump.
Binary Sunrise, Blackstone Rangers
Friday, November 26, at City Tavern
Binary Sunrise's weirdly infectious psychedelic dance pop is the brainchild of singer Kenneth Kemp and former Tablet/Ohno frontman Steve Holt (no, not the guy from Arrested Development).
Selena Gomez, Forever The Sickest Kids
Friday, November 26, at Verizon Theatre
This odd pairing might not be so odd afterall. You might remember that Gomez and Forever The Sickest Kids teamed up for a remix track back in 2009, and now they'll be sharing the stage in Gomez' hometown, Grand Prairie.
Los Lonely Boys
Friday, November 26, at Granada Theater
Los Lonely boys bring their "Texican Rock n' Roll" to the Granada Theater on Friday. Meanwhile, we're still trying to get their song "Heaven" out of our heads.
Friday, November 26, at La Grange
Chuck Berry meets The Rolling Stones meets four white dudes from Dallas--so what else is new?
Spindrift, Fate Lions, The Cush
Friday, November 26, at The Kessler Theater
Los Angeles psychedelic, spaghetti western act Spindrift have played in Dallas quite a few times over the last several months. Their near-20 year history, and their revolving door of psych-rock heavyweights make this show worth attending. That and two of Dallas' best, Fate Lions and The Cush will be opening the show.
South FM, Mothers Anthem, Meridian, Eyes Burn Electric
Saturday, November 27, at Trees
South FM will make a triumphant--depending on who you ask--return to the Dallas music scene.
That's it from us. Have a great weekend, and we'll see you back here on Monday.
