Giveaway: Five Pairs of Tickets To See Monotonix and Joan of Arc at The Loft Tonight
|Yes, Monotonix is that crazy.|
Israel's Monotonix have been known around these parts to throw crazy concerts that really do demonstrate just how crazy the Middle East can actually be. And we at DC9 have loved it, going as far as to calling the trio's live shows "one of the best."
But that doesn't mean Monotonix can't have intellectual conversations. A few days ago Kelly Dearmore talked with guitarist Yonotan Gat about everything from the Israeli/Palestinian conflict to their upcoming record Fun Fun Fun / Try Try Try. And he had quite a few interesting answers deviate from the simple politics of it. Nevertheless, Gat contends that the band is mostly apolitical, and just want to throw great shows--which includes tonight's show at The Loft, where the band will be joined by math-rock act Joan of Arc, an 11-piece band known for their highly complex rhythmic indie rock sound.
And tonight, five lucky DC9 readers have a chance to go the see Monotonix and Joan of Arc for free, courtesy of the fine folks at The Loft. See how to win the tickets after the jump!
