Giveaway: Two Pairs of Tickets to See Jenny and Johnny Tonight at the Granada Theater
Certainly, by now, you know Jenny Lewis. The one-time child actress (what's up, Troop Beverly Hills fans?) has made quite the name for herself in the modern indie music landscape thanks to her solo efforts, her work with Rilo Kiley and her collaborations with the Watson Twins. And if you've ever seen any of those bands on tour, you've probably heard Johnathan Rice, too--her singer-songwriter boyfriend has been Lewis' regular opening act for some time now.
Only recently, though, have the two started collaborating. This year, they released I'm Having Fun Now, a collaborative release put out under the name of Jenny and Johnny. You can hear that release in entirety in the clip above--played as heard on cassette tape, actually, in a player on top of a piano in the duo's shared Laurel Canyon home. It's a charming indie-pop listen--as can be expected from pretty much anything Lewis puts out.
