Bonus MP3: A.Dd+ feat. Brown of Sore Losers -- "Likeamug"

Back in March, the last time we passed along a track for download from A.Dd+'s debut mixtape, When Pigs Fly, we announced with great anticipation that the disc was "due out in the next few weeks." Now, almost six months after the fact, the disc is looking more and more like the Chinese Democracy of Dallas hip-hop.

Blame a few factors: Picnictyme, who produced the entire disc, has been on the road for the past few months, touring with Erykah Badu across the world (he's still been working, though--earlier this week, he released a phenomenal new beat tape showing off his impressive-as-ever prowess); collaborators Sore Losers recently moved away from town to give California a whirl; and, unlike so many other acts around town (and, maybe, in hip-hop in general), A.Dd+ isn't just treating this tape as a throwaway, instead taking the time--too much time?--to make sure the album's completely ready before they drop it.

Thankfully, it appears as if that's finally closer to happening: Earlier this week, the duo of Paris and Flaco leaked another single from the tape, called "Likeamug." Featuring another addictive Picnic beat and a guest verse from Brown of Sore Losers, the track gives local hip-hop fans yet another reason to get excited about this disc. In the long line of great hip-hop releases from Dallas artists in 2010, this is yet another disc that appears to be in contention for the years best--assuming it ever drops, that is.
