I can't tell if Black Tie Dynasty is saying hello or goodbye.
I always thought it would be kind of a great idea for a band to only play break-up or reunion shows. Think about it: You can get a lot of people to come to your last concert. And, likewise, when your band gets back together.

But it won't last long before people are onto you.

Looks like Black Tie Dynasty is beginning to follow that logic.

After breaking up last year, they reunited a month ago to open for Joan Jett in Rowlett, and now they're planning a headlining show with Ishi at The Granada Theater on Saturday, October 2. Tickets are on sale now at the Granada's ticket website for $10.

In other show announcement news, Parade Of Flesh brings in another great bill tomorrow night at The Nightmare. Lo-fi indie-pop band Happy Birthday will be performing along with Residual Echoes and Fungi Girls. Tickets are on sale now for $8 at Front Gate.

More show announcements after the jump.
