Giveaway: Three Pairs of Tickets to Tomorrow Night's Slobberbone Show at the Granada
Saturday night's kind of crazy-filled with shows from locals-done-good: There's the Toadies (with support from The House Harkonnen and The Burning Hotels) celebrating Feeler at the Palladium; there's Pleasant Grove (with support from Mike Graff and Derek Rogers) at the Kessler; and then there's a little show going on at the Granada Theater.
With support from Austin's Noble Dog and the still-pretty-new-to-Dallas The Roomsounds, Denton's Slobberbone continues its string of reunion shows with a show at the Granada that will no doubt bring back memories of the days when Brent Best and Co. were offering up "Sweetness, That's Your Cue" on the late-night circuit (see above). Also fun about this performance? It's serving as the one-year anniversary celebration for Nico Martini's "American Highway" show on The Indie-Verse, which proudly revels in alt-country, roots and folk rock.
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
