Giveaway: Two Pairs of Tickets To See The Hold Steady and The Whigs at Granada on Saturday Night

The Brooklyn-based bar rockers in The Hold Steady, having just dropped their latest, Heaven Is Whenever album in May, are knee-deep in their national summer tour, with stops all over the U.S. and even the occasional dip across the Canadian border. Their new album has met widely positive reviews, and the live set will undoubtedly showcase its more mature tone alongside the nostalgic nerdy hits of albums past.

At least, Eric Grubbs seems to think so. In this week's paper, he discusses the band's live performance merits:

And with The Hold Steady being joined on this bill by The Whigs, who recently released their third full-length, In The Dark, and also know a thing or two about putting on a good live show, tomorrow night's stop at the Granada Theater should prove quite the entertaining affair.
