Last time Islands came through the region--way back in October, for a gig at Rubber Gloves in Denton--our very own Catherine Downes chatted up frontman Nick Thorburn/Nick T./Nick Diamonds about the band's group dynamic with the return of his old Unicorns bandmate Jamie Thompson into the writing fold, and how that change re-charged the band's creativity.
