RIVETHEAD
Chances are, you've already heard a song by Dallas' RIVETHEAD. You just may not have realized it.

The local industrial/metal band's music has been played by the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center for several years now--and, beyond that, RIVETHEAD's songs have been featured on National Geographic's Tools of the Trade, on Bad Girls Club on Oxygen, on Gene Simmons' Family Jewels" on A&E, and on the TLC reality show, The Bussey Bunch.

And the band's stayed productive, too: Last year, the band released its fifth full length, Zero Gravity, followed by a four-song EP released just before Christmas.

The placements, meanwhile, aren't slowing, either. The band tells us that Zero Gravity's opening cut, "Stay Alive," is currently in the hands of Harmonix for consideration for Rock Band 3--along with the song, "Difference" RIVETHEAD's earlier, elf-entitled album.

Factor in two upcoming area shows, and RIVETHEAD's got plenty going on at the moment--enough, at least, for frontman Steve Pageâ to send along "Stay Alive" for everyone's listening and downloading pleasure. Check it out after the jump and see if Rock Band 3 is on the verge of picking a winner.
