Top 100 Most Annoying Summer Songs

Shut up, Jimmy Buffett.
You know what really gives us the summertime blues? "Summertime Blues," not to mention other maddening summer hits like "All I Wanna Do," "Margaritaville" or the shotgun-in-mouth-inducing "Hot Hot Hot."

It's bad enough global warming is cooking the planet like a plastic cup in the microwave--why must we be subjected to more Smash Mouth? (Screw you Shrek.) Train's "Drops of Jupiter" needs to be jettisoned to that very planet, and seriously, can we stop playing "Centerfield" at summer baseball games already?

So, as summer comes into full blast, here are 100 summer songs that always cause us to raise a fuss (or alternately, raise a holler) until someone hits skip or changes the damn station.

Note: By our definition, a "summer song" need not be about the beach, the sun or the lake. As long as MTV or the local top 40 station played it mercilessly between May and August one year, we figure it counts.
