Good Friday: Homegrown Festival, Annuals, Will Johnson, Wynonna, Vanilla Ice, Sundress, The Glitch Mob and others...
Homegrown's stacked bill is almost certainly the highlight of the weekend, thanks to scheduled performances from Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights, This Will Destroy You, Ishi, Analog Rebellion and others. But there are plenty of other worthwhile shows to check out.
Here's a handful we've already mentioned this week...
On Friday, get your groove on with the country soul of the Stone River Boys at All Good Cafe. Meanwhile, up north a tad, Telegraph Canyon, Doug Burr, and Glen Farris are at Dan's Silverleaf, and Annuals brings their indie-prog-rock to Hailey's, along with Most Serene Republic.
Lastly, on Sunday, Everybody Was In The French Resistance...Now is playing at Hailey's. Laura Marling will folk around at the Loft that same night. And, in Deep Ellum there will be plenty of teen angst at the Prophet Bar with M.D.C., The Restarts, Warcola, Odor, and Teenage Kamikaze.
