Erykah Badu Will Be On BET's 106 & Park Today. But She Won't Be The Only North Texas Singer On The Channel...

If Ms. Badu's Twitter account is to be believed--and, really, when isn't it?--then she's gonna be on your television screens today even earlier than her scheduled appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, stopping by B.E.T.'s 106 & Park to discuss (what else?) New Amerykah Pt. 2: Return of the Ankh and her video for "Window Seat," no doubt. The show airs at 5 p.m.Central Time. And Badu's new album, you'll no doubt recall, earned its release today (and you can stream that sucker in full right here).
But turns out, Badu won't be the only North Texas female stopping by B.E.T. today for a little promo love. Seems Sachse-YouTube-sensation-turned-So-So-Def-artist Dondria, who we introduced you to last June, appears to have bounced back in the wake of So So Def label head Jermaine Dupri's heave-ho from Def Jam. She'll appear tonight on The Monique Show, which airs locally at 10 p.m., to perform the above, kinda-delicious R&B jam "You're The One," the lead single off her debut Dondria vs. Phatfffat album, which is set for release some time this spring. In the meantime, she's got a duets mixtape, which features collaborations with Drake, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane, Ginuwine, Robin Thicke, The Dream and others, available for free download here.
