Dem Southernfolkz's "The Message" Earns MTV Jams' Approval

Congratulations to the soulful area hip-hoppers in Dem Southernfolkz, who this morning saw their video for "The Message" get MTV's approval for rotation on its MTV Jams channel. It's the band's first video to earn airplay on one of the cable station's many subsidiary channels--but, if the band has its way, it hopefully won't be the last. On Saturday, the band will meet up with our DC9 Live at El Sibil cohorts at Yes Go Productions to film another video, this one, I believe, for "Feels Like," off the band's 2009-released four-track EP, Something To Hold On To, which, still, is available as a free download.
