​OK, so, admittedly, we're a little behind on this note (been busy with our own coverage, sorry), but it still bears mentioning: Both Sarah Jaffe and Neon Indian found themselves earning positive reviews over the weekend as part of Rolling Stone's blog coverage of the Austin City Limits Music Festival--in the same wrap-up of Saturday's shows, no less.

In short: Jaffe's vocals are "gentle" and determined, with music that serves as a "perfect complement"; Neon Indian, meanwhile, showcases just a little "sleaze," and sounds like a "chopped-and-screwed version of New Order."

No arguments from this standpoint.
