Giveaway: A Pair Of Tickets To See Vivian Girls Tonight At The Cavern

Quite the bill at The Cavern tonight as Vivian Girls, who Daniel Hopkins caught up with in this week's paper, stop through town for a gig that also features area favorites True Widow and The Uptown Bums.

If there's a common theme for the show, which kicks off at 10 o'clock, well, that'd be sludge, something featured in the sounds of all three of these acts--in Uptown Bums' retro-punk, in True Widow's dirge rock and in the headlining act's retro-pop.
