Bonus MP3: Sunrise Cemetary -- "Ruiner"

Over the past three years, Nowell has kept his instrumental chops in order by playing with a variety of nationally known death metal acts. But recently, he decided to have a go at a local combo once again and Sunrise Cemetery was formed.

Nowell was kind enough to send over a track, "Ruiner," from Sunrise Cemetery's soon to be released debut for the readers of DC9.

Nowell says his new band is more pop/punk and that certainly shows in "Ruiner." The guy has always had an interesting Cheap Trick fetish and it's nice to hear the melody shine through on this track.

Sunrise Cemetery's CD release show is at the Prophet Bar on the 28th of August. It is also a reunion show for Red Animal War.
