Bonus MP3: Corporate Park -- "Intimate Precision"

Unless you've been on vacation over the last week, you've probably already heard some of the buzz surrounding a certain upcoming live debut by a certain ex-Ghosthustler member's newest project.

But, some worthwhile buzz that you may not yet have heard is that tonight's Back to Cooool show at Hailey's will play host to the local debut performance of the now-Denton-based Corporate Park, the solo project of Shane English, another former Ghosthustler member.

English's past credentials don't stop with that late, great blog house juggernaut, though; he played guitar for Chief Death Rage, and bass and electronic percussion for No Way, too. And most locals should probably remember English as his alter ego of Shingles Tuwear, the bassist for The Undoing of David Wright, rest in peace.

Some months back, English left Denton to play with Hot Springs' act Church of the Snake. But, he says, "I came back to Denton because I missed it and I really missed being able to collaborate with the people here." Like, one imagines, his other project with Andrew Michael of Rival Gang called Mistress.

But back to Corporate Park: The project's electro-noise sounds do kinda sound like what you'd get if you crammed all of the aforementioned band's into a trash compactor and then tried to play the resulting compacted bits on your record player--at 33 1/3 rpms, of course. And English was kind enough to pass along an mp3 for "Intimate Precision." Check it out after the jump.

Apparently, the song, which is set many years in the future, is about daydreaming while traveling through some sort of silvery, Jetsons-like sci-fi tube. One blog has already favorably compared Corporate Park's droning minimalectro sound to Exceptor, which is a compliment, we think.
