Billboard is reporting today that
Colleyville's own Demi Lovato stands a damn fine fighting chance to debut atop next week's
Billboard 200 chart when the numbers all come in on the sales for her sophomore release,
Here We Go Again. Last year, Lovato's debut,
Don't Forget, debuted at No. 2 on the chart.
Thank the power of Disney if Lovato takes the top slot.
Of course, should she lose, just look to a couple other major pop culture outfits as the culprit: The three other albums currently competing for next week's top slot are Michael Jackson's
Number Ones (still, go figure) and the new releases from two
American Idol alums, Chris Daughtry and Jordin Sparks.
Either way: Yay for corporate rock!
