If, like me, you've been an admirer of the album artwork Teenage Cool Kids' Andrew Savage provided for his band's excellent new album, Foreign Lands, or for the band's 7-inch singles "Poison Sermons" and "Speaking in Tongues," then you're in for a treat today.

Savage has announced that he's selling the original artwork for those album covers, as well as some of his other creations, to help raise funds before TCK sets off on its three-month-long tour--a good chunk of which Savage will be pulling double duty on, also performing in his Pitchfork-approved Fergus & Geronimo.

The paintings are all watercolor/quache on 300 lb paper, but the sizes vary (the watercolors for the two 7-inch singles are 12"-by-12", while Savage estimates the art for the Foreign Lands LP as approximately five feet by two-and-a-half feet. Contact Savage via TCK's MySpace page for more details about sizes and pricing.

And, about those other works he's selling? Savage says: "All the paintings are part of a similar series, so, they all have a similar visual aesthetic to them. If someone likes one of those three [covers], then they'll probably like the other ones."

He's right: After perusing a ZIP file of some of the other works he's offering up, it's easy to see the common themes and visual feel of the works.

Better act now, though, because I get paid on Friday.
