Bob Schneider Signs With Kirtland Records

Tami Thomsen, general manager of last night's Best Label winner Kirtland Records (and also the DJ at the Double-Wide Bar afterparty), filled us in yesterday on the label's latest signing.

Austin singer-songwriter and former Sandra Bullock boyfriend Bob Schneider will release his next album, tentatively titled Lovely Creatures, September 29 on the label.

The record will be his tenth solo effort since he left behind The Scabs and The Ugly Americans. It follows his Love Is Everywhere EP, released earlier this year, and will be his first full-length since 2007's When The Sun Breaks Down On The Moon.

I am glad that a local label signed someone who has shown the ability to sell records, but this guy is a real douche. I interviewed him last year and getting him to answer a question was just as difficult as waking his lazy ass up. It was noon and he kept complaining how he hadn't had his coffee. and he got to boink bullock? simply a travesty.
