The Dallas sons and current Austin residents in The Strange Boys are making two stops in North Texas this weekend as they head north and east out of Austin to launch their summer tour.
Tomorrow night, you can catch the fellas at Rubber Gloves up in Denton.
But tonight, a special treat: The boys will join legendary Texas musician (and fellow Austin resident) Alejandro Escovedo for a gig at Sons of Hermann Hall. The Strange Boys will play their patented brand of retro-rock at 9 p.m.; Escovedo will bring his token badassery at 10.
And, thanks to AllGood Cafe owner and all-around good guy Mike Snider, who booked the show, I'm pleased to announce that we have a pair of tickets to give away to this fine show.Want 'em?
