Though
Old Crow Medicine Show singer Keith Secor doesn't sound particularly enthusiastic about life on the road in
Lance Lester's preview story, I know quite a few fans who are excited for the chance to see his old-timey string band perform tomorrow night at
The Granada Theater. Making the show even more intriguing is the choice of opener
Justin Townes Earle, son of the great Steve Earle and an apple who didn't fall too far from the tree,
according to Darryl Smyers.
And thanks to the generosity of the venue, three DC9 readers can watch the show for nothing at all. Each of the first three people to email me with the subject "Cocaine Habit" will be on the list with one guest spot for tomorrow's 8 p.m. show. Update: Contest is over. Congrats to the winners.
