Giveaway: A Pair Of Tickets To Catch Ian Moore Tonight at Lola's Stockyards

It's a surprisingly busy Wednesday night around the region this evening. Take a look around: There's Propagandhi's at The Prophet Bar; the Pitchfork-approved Isis, Pelican and Tombs date at the Granada; the Indigo Girls at the Lakewood -- and even the Crystal Method at the House of Blues with L.A. Riots, and also The Offspring at the Nokia Theater. Oh, and there's a DC9 in SPACE taping tonight, too (but more on that later).

But, Indigo Girls aside, that's, for the most part, a pretty heavy offering. So maybe seeing former Austinite Ian Moore perform his at-times ambient singer-songwriter fare at Lola's Stockyards this evenig is more your speed? At the very least, it should be an interesting show, thanks in no small part to the interesting lineup of opening acts billed to perform.

First up? Sam Anderson, a North Richland Hills musician whose rootsy blues-folk has been getting more than a few people chatting lately -- which should be a good sign for his future. And then, sitting pretty in the second spot is The Orbans, the alt-country act whose steady rise has already begun, thanks in large part to similar chatter (and a nice video).

Anyway, thanks to the fine folks at Spune Productions, we've got a pair of tickets to give away to this show. Want 'em? They're yours -- assuming you're the firs tperson to email me right now with the subject line "Moore is Less." Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners.
