So, Yeah, Crystal Castles Canceled At The Granada Last Night...
...and, as a result, about 1,200 fans were left out in the lurch. What gives? We're gonna makes some calls and try to find out what happened, from all angles. But, in the meantime, I'm guessing this story from WeShotJr doesn't do the Canadian duo any favors. (Or is it favours?)

Knowing the people who own, work for, and run the Granada and it's sound system as well as I do I would bet the farm it was not any lack of professionalism or capability on their part. So, that means CC are clearly classless.

So last night is just another example of why you SHOULD NOT support this band. Being in a band it seems like these days means you can put up a computer, loop some beats, and use pro tools to hide the lack of music ability you have. The popular music of today has no soul, no true love for the spirit of music. Which goes back to this band who canceled a sold out show, a SOLD OUT SHOW that tons of bands would kill to have.
Bands like Crystal Castles have no respect for music and no respect for others.
Knowing the venue and everyone who works there the show was in NO WAY CANCELED BY GRANADA THEATER.
GRANADA THEATER, was open and ready to rock just like they always are, they were ready to serve you with a friendly smile, good vibes and feel good time.
Lets just say Crystal Castles will be lucky to get a show anywhere in Dallas and the surrounding areas after this stunt.
Making your fans stand outside in the streets huddle next to each other and waiting for a show because they are sound checking for 8 hours, yes kids 8 hours and still producing nothing but the walk of shame is ridiculous and unprofessional.
If you decide to keep supporting this band, I pray that one day you will find good taste in people who dont suck at life.
Posted On: Wednesday, Apr. 15 2009 @ 8:36PMI support Granada theater on this one...Crystal Castles member Ethan, actually went out into the crowd and approached almost all the fans lying to their faces telling them that Granada did not want them to go on. Ethan stated that, "they didn't want them to play because they were afraid that they were going to blow their sound system", I now know that this was a lie. It seems as if gracing the crowd with his appearance was going to justify their actions. Ethan then kept stating, "will make it up to you", this might be bullshit as well. When I directly asked him if the show was going to be cancelled 20 minutes before it was officially cancelled, he simply ignored me and kept working the crowd...I guess he was trying to get the fans on his side before aligations were given that they cancelled because they were insecure about their perfomance. Crystal Castles seems to think that sending one member of the group into the crowd was worth the fee of the ticket and if this is the case the ticket was only worth $15.oo, which is not worth shit. I guess they thought that much of their fans...thinking that we would be bought off by simply gracing us with one members prescence;...maybe even the word losers might have been tossed backstage in the greenroom defining their fans, as they let them wait for fucking two hours. They lost 2 fans that night, even if I define myself a fan, I was barely even interested in their music. Mayber their parents still prepare their food with breast-pumps because they still act like children if they don't bother to act like professionals in their line business.
