• BNL was a great live band. and as my friend kyle said in an email earlier they were "comprised of five entirely indispensable members. until now. i has a sad." over the years i've seen these guys about a dozen or so times (usually with kyle) and we've had a blast every time. except maybe the time at smu when the idiot was screaming at steven page while he was talking. i'd have to say my favorite dfw appearance would have been lizard lounge back in '97 or so (also the first time i saw them). the zone (remember that station?) put on a free show with them and we lined up around the building for hours in the freezing cold to get in. forgive the drama in this post, i'm just going to be missing a band i really enjoyed.
