Kelly's Been Waiting More Than Six Years For A Moment Like This.

Billboard reports today that Burleson's own Kelly Clarkson is set to make chart history tomorrow.

Here's how: When the results for this week's Hot 100 chart are officially revealed tomorrow, they will show that Clarkson's newest single, "My Life Would Suck Without You", will have made the largest jump to No. 1 in the chart's 50-year history.

Last week, the song sat at No. 97 on the chart, but with 280,000 digital downloads of the single sold in its first week of availability, such a jump suddenly became possible. (Oh, and just for good measure: the song was also the No. 1 most-added song to Top 40 and Hot AC stations this week.)

With this move, "My Life Would Suck Without You" will become the second No. 1 single of Clarkson's career. The first? Oddly, not the ubiquitous "Since U Been Gone", which only peaked at No. 2 on the charts. Rather, the previous chart-topper in Clarkson's bag is "A Moment Like This", her debut single release after winning American Idol's first season. It hit the top o' the charts on October 5, 2002.

Also of note: The video for "My Like Would Suck Without You", which was leaked online and then taken down and may or may not be available currently in some annals of the Web, will make its official debut at some point during Idol tonight. So you can put yourself  through that mess, or just wait until it's pretty much everywhere later this week. But, then again, if you care about any of this news, you're probably watching Idol anyway...
