I doubt news of this cancellation will wind up on Brooklyn Vegan or Idolator a la Jay Reatard's stunt last night, but it should be noted that tonight's show with Emmylou Harris at the Majestic Theatre has been nixed.

Here's why, straight from the Majestic's Web site:

"Due to a death in her family. The Majestic Theatre extends our deepest condolences to Emmylou during this difficult time."
