...or so Black Tie Dynasty bassist Blake McCorquodale said at Saturday night's Tomorrowpeople show.

No slight to the Black Tie Dynasty guys, but I'm guessing, after hosting a few bigger name in-game performances already, Stars management wasn't exactly expecting to make it this far in the series... --Pete Freedman

That was the most ridiculous article I have ever read. Why does the Dallas Observer get off on tearing down good bands that are a part of their very own Dallas music scene ? Black Tie Dynasty was asked to play at a Dallas Stars conference final game, which they did, and beautifully I might add - that is awesome and instead of this negative article, why not say something positive about it?

No wonder they freakin lost. Lame ass synth pop eightized BS to get people psyched up? How about the Gamblers or Record Hop or a band like Spector 45, who I've witnessed way back at Darkside destroy those clowns and their silly smoke machines before? WTF? Down 3 to 2, Detroit 4 - Stars 1, energy where it matters ya know?
