According to Alison Welsh of the Deep Ellum Association, both July Alley and Bar of Soap passed their SUP hearings today. While no one truly expected much opposition to these establishments' applications, the official word certainly comes as good news to Deep Ellum's advocates and proprietors. -- Pete Freedman
These are the type of bars I like in our neighborhood. They're good business people who dont cause alot of BS on weekends, most of their clientel comes in for a drink or 2, hangs out and enjoys themselves.
Now, if we could only get someone to take over elm st. bar, we'd be in business.
