Lovie, El Gato, Tim Delaughter Highlight Benefit CD

Tue Mar 25, 2008 at 01:55:33 AM
El Gato.
Last week we mentioned Bridges and Blinking Lights were recording a song for an upcoming compilation album benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Team UltraViolet, featuring members of El Gato and Lovie, is assembling the CD together the benefit album. We got word that El Gato will also have a new track on the disc, but we've got more than that. We have a partial list of the bands featured on the compilation. Here we go:
Lovie
El Gato
Tim Delaughter (Polyphonic Spree)
The Felons
The Backsliders
Sunward
Smile Smile
Calhoun
The Crash That Took Me
Sebadoh
Somebodys Darling
Wonderfool
Blue Petal
It sounds like a badass album to me, so I'll keep everyone posted on the progress and when we can get our grubby little hands on it. -- Chelsea Ide

That photo looks stupid, looks staged to make a stupid point for whatever stupid reason.

Rob says:

YO Joe. This is a write-up about people doing something good and philanthropic to help save lives. Why you gotta go and poop on it just becuase you don't like their band photo? That's lame.

Amanda says:

The UltraViolet Rock Show will be at Club Dada on April 26th... you should be able to get your hands on the CD at the show...grubby or clean.

Sarah says:

Actually thats some of the art for El Gato's newest album Surrender! which was released earlier this year. The actually album art can be seen on the Ultra Violet website.
