The Police. Lookin' a whole lot younger.
So, the Starplex has another announcement. Hot on the heels of all this Radiohead stuff that has you all so hot and bothered, we just caught wind of another sure-to-be-a-big-deal show coming 'round these parts: The Police, with "special guests" Elvis Costello and the Imposters. The show will happen Wednesday, May 21, about 11 months after The Police played the American Airlines Center last summer. Tickets, assuming you don't have to scalp, will run $40 to $225. Citi cardmembers can get them at 9 a.m. on Monday. February 18, here. Fan club members can start buying on Wednesday, February, 20. The rest of you will have to wait until Saturday, February 23, at 9 a.m., and buy your tix here or here. -- Pete Freedman

I'm not sure even Elvis Costello can save the Police from $225 tickets. Yikes.

guess I'll wait 'til next go-round for Elvis Costello

I wouldn't pay $225 to see Jesus. Oh wait, Sting thinks he is Jesus. No wonder. Maybe if the Police let David Lee Roth sing....
