TexBrewvolution Will Host 25 Texas Craft Brewers Under One Roof
Quenching a thirst in this city has never been so easy. Local craft beer is a booming industry, and an entire culture has risen atop that foamy head.
The same group that pulled together the Big Texas Beer Fest and Untapped is throwing another party. This one is called Texas Brewvolution, and it is a kick off event for NTX Beer Week (formerly known as Dallas Beer week), on November 9. You following? Nevermind all the details. It's a bunch of Texas craft beer under one roof.
There will be more than 25 Texas craft brews along with a "select handful of the best breweries from around the world."
"We really searched the entire state for some of the more esoteric brands you just don't ever see up here in our neck of the woods," says Corey Pond of The Common Table and one of the organizers. "As far as new festival participants, we're particularly excited to have Argus Cidery from the Austin hill country participating; these guys have some neat farmhouse-style ciders we don't typically see in North Texas."
Breweries already confirmed for the event include Armadillo Ale Works, Martin House, 903, Revolver, No Label, Saint Arnold, Boulevard, Ballast Point, Firewheel, DEBC, Rahr, Community, Real Ale, Franconia, Six Point, Cedar Creek, Peticolas, Jester King, Ranger Creek and Perdanales. That's not all. There's more.
There will be food, local artists and live music, (Shotgun Friday, The Hanna Barbarians and The Roomsounds). Don't forget that DART so conveniently put a stop just outside of Fair Park.
The party starts on November 9 at Centennial Building (1001 Washington Street) at Fair Park at 2 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m.
General Admission tickets are $35 each; VIPs tickets are $60 allow entry an hour early, as well as in-and-out privileges. Tickets are now on sell through EventBrite.
