It's a pie.
The third location of Norma's Cafe is a few steps closer to opening. The new Frisco location was set to open its doors in April, but things never seem to work that way around here. The restaurant is now expected to open closer to the end of May, though that could change as they're still hanging drywall and playing with glue.

A newly minted manager is now taking applications, though, signaling that the restaurant is getting closer to its opening date. The massive location (to be called Super Norma's from this day forth) is expected to hire 140 waitstaff, cooks, dishwashers and other employees.

The Super Norma's is located in The Centre at Preston Ridge, one of those synthetic urban things with lots of parking, an Old Navy, Target and all the other stores you expect to see in shopping centers that are built out of thin air.

We'll let you know when they've put down the spackling knives and buckets and picked up the spatulas and frying pans.
