Four Corners Brewery Landed At Common Table Last Week (And Where to Get It Now)

Four Corners Brewery At The Common Table 002.jpg
Last week, Four Corners Brewery tapped their first two kegs for sale in Dallas at an event at The Common Table in Uptown. The crowd was pretty small while I was there, but I arrived early and pulled a drink and dash.

Michael Peticolas dropped by to enjoy a glass and said hello to John Sims and Steve Porcari, who were on hand to talk about their beer. By the end of the event, they'd blown through two kegs. I guess I missed the party.

Their Local Buzz, a golden ale made with rye and honey was a bit too sweet for me but the Red's Roja Ale is a beer I can get into. It's hoppy, but the bitterness is balanced with malt and caramel flavors that are more like the dark, amber smell of burning sugar than the light flavor you associate with the cellophane-wrapped candies.

Representatives from the brewery will be on hand at Goodfriend on Wednesday for beer week, and then will hold their first brewery tour this Saturday.

Thirsty for more? Sims tells me their beer is available by the keg at Parkit Market and by the pint at the following...

Ten Bells Tavern
Pour House Dallas
Texas Theater
Lockhart Smokehouse
