The Nutella Breakfast Tour hits Dallas this Thursday through Monday, each day at a different location - primarily college campuses. The idea of a Nutella food truck surely incites a small amount of excited panic, as it should. But, it's not clear what Nutella is offering other than small free samples and a chance to take a picture with a giant inflatable jar. Follow this Facebook page for specific instructions on where to find the healthy (wink, wink) hazelnut spread.

The fourth annual Cliff Fest: More Than Just a Taste is this Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. There will be foods, crafts and many many fabulous items from Oak Cliff vendors. There's also a chili cook-off that is open to all Oak Cliff residents and businesses. All proceeds of the affair go to the North Texas Food Bank.

It's Dallas Beer Week. Revel in all that is craft. Restaurants and bars all over the metroplex are turning their taps over to local brewers, and chefs are creating special beer-focused menus. All the updates are on the Dallas Beer Week calendar.

This Friday the new Alamo Drafthouse is hosting a free outdoor screening of The Burbs, old school 35mm style. The movie starts at 7 p.m. (silence your phones, Dallas (don't say we didn't warn you)) and Lee Harvey's will be there to take care of your thirst-related desires. The fine folks at Alamo Drafthouse encourage you to wear a robe and PJ's. "We'll also be having a sardine eating contest and other over the top events!"

Knock out all your holiday shopping at the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market (2800 Main Street) this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Support local artists and generally nice people. To help you maintain strength, Bombay Chopstix and Eat Jo Dawgs will be there. Sidenote: the Dallas Public Library mobile truck will be there as well should you choose return those old books.
