Craft and Growler is a new bar serving local craft beer at 3601 Parry Ave., just across from Fair Park. Now, don't roll your eyes and say, "Oh, c'mon, who isn't serving craft beer these days?" Well, not many do it like this ...

Craft and Growler is a truly unique establishment. First of all, they serve all their beers in growlers, which are medieval-looking large beer bottles that are filled straight from the tap then sealed with a cap. Bonus: you can get your growler filled and then take it home. Or you can hunker down on a beer-keg bar stool and enjoy your beer there.
C&G has a wide selection of both 32- and 64-ounce growlers or you can bring your own, if that's how you roll already.

This week Craft and Growler is open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, excluding Thanksgiving Day. Check their Facebook page next week for regular operating hours. Again, they're just getting started and will be open longer hours soon.
