The Sushi Axiom on Cedar Springs is Closed

Shushi Axiom
Sushi Axiom (formerly Fin Sushi) at 4123 Cedar Springs Road closed for good yesterday in a combined decision of the owners and business partner Monica Green. The spot will be combined with an adjacent space, which is owned by the same group, and will reopen as a Mexican concept.

Sushi Axiom on Henderson is not affected by this closing and recently opened a champagne bar and martini lounge next door. The group is also opening a new spot in Addison in the old Cyclone Anaya's spot at Belt Line and Montfort later this summer.

I wish someone would open a ramen place. No more sushi please! Or burgers or tacos. Ramen is DAMN cheap to make and you can charge the hell out of it with extra toppings.

Is anyone aware that the Sushi Axiom Henderson location has sold to another owner, Kito? Talk about confusing

And does that mean a closed sushi place is going to open at the closed Mexican place at Belt Line and Montfort (which is not Addison on that side FYI) or does that mean a new Mexican place in the closed Mexican place? I am confused by all this confusion.

I thought the new restaurant was to be called Tajin.  That doesn't sound Mexican.

Are you on the press release list? :) B/c it says it was going to be called Tajin. But, like past tense. So, I called them and they said, that's right. Past tense. And they don't know what the new Mexican concept that WAS going to be called Tajin will be called now. I'm confused...
