Those working downtown have a new taco to talk about.
Downtown Dallas, Inc., announced this afternoon that Rusty Taco will take over the Main Street Garden Café space.

Robert Wilonsky reported on the space's need for a tenant over on Unfair Park back in February. Today's release announces Rusty's as the chosen vendor. The taco shack beat out a dozen other vendors vying for the space and will start stuffing tortillas some time in May

Rusty Fenton owns four other locations of his taco franchise in Texas and in Minnesota. "This location provides an established location in the heart of Downtown, and we are up for this new adventure," he said in the news release.

His Greenville Avenue location was one the test subjects on our brisket taco crawl. After sampling four other boutique taco joints in and around Dallas, Rusty's brisket taco was my favorite. Soon they'll be a little more accessible to my office, too.

Pretty excited about this. I'm not necessarily a huge advocate for the Greenville Ave location, but it's a great idea for downtown. The breakfast-lunch-dinner is key.

The extra mile or two to fuel city is worth the much better taco.

Or go a mile or two east to 4500 Bryan Street to La Banqueta for a taco that Fuel City couldn't even dream about.

Obviously the taste buds that you have have been ripped out by a rabid beaver!?  FC taco's taste like hammered, and flaming dogshite.  You can't be serious......I call "bit" on this one. Next you'll be telling us that Dickey's is good.

All I've had was their brisket taco. One taco. It was a good taco. I'm quite sure of it

FC is like most places in Dallas. Originally not bad, but once it became popular, when to shit
