February was a busy month in the Dallas food scene. The highly anticipated Off-site Kitchen finally opened its doors, along with a handful of other eateries.

The Foundry (2303 Pittman): Chef Tim Byres, Chris Jeffers and Chris Zielke, co-owners of Smoke, have taken over the old Jack's Backyard spot, and transformed it into a beer garden called The Foundry.
Chop House Burger (1717 Main St.): The burger joint on Main Street is not to be confused with the one with an almost identical name in Arlington.
Better Burger (5715 Lemmon): Sam and Kathy Vergos, whose family also owns Original Market Diner, opened Better Burger.
Sissy's Southern Kitchen & Bar (2929 N. Henderson Ave.):Sissy's Southern Kitchen & Bar is the long-awaited restaurant from Lisa Garza.
Bikini's Sports Bar & Grill (1350 E. Copeland): The breastaurant opened early last month.
Fish City Grill (2323 N. Henderson): The Henderson Avenue seafood restaurant has closed its doors for good.
Macho Nacho (4000 Cedar Springs): The lights are out for good at the Cedar Springs nacho restaurant.
Max's Wine Dive: The restaurant is planning to open this fall in the old Borders space on the corner of Lemmon and McKinney avenues.
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop: The sandwich shop is opening a location downtown.
