KNON and Gumbo at Poor David's Pub on Sunday

KNON
As you surely know, 'tis the weekend before Fat Tuesday. Gluttony will run rampant in the streets as we, and everyone in New Orleans, prepare for 40 days of sacrifice that begin on Ash Wednesday. (Or maybe you focus on just the gluttony part? That's cool, too.)

On Sunday, Poor David's Pub on Lamar will host KNON's 12th annual Mardi Gras Gumbo Party. The competitors this year are returning champ Chef Ivan Pugh of Alligator Café, Louisiana Red, Offshores Nextdoor, Crawdads of Dallas and Fish City Grill.

The crowd determines the winner by how obnoxious they get. All in good mardi gras fun. The gumbo tasting is 5 to 7 p.m. and tickets are $15.

What, no Nate's?  Nate's Seafood is the absolute authority on good Cajun eats!  Nuff said.

Nate's has participated in the past.  They no longer wish too be a part of this event.  They would be welcomed back.

Make him come back....this is like having Italianfest without Campisi's!  Or slutfest without Jaguars.  Or Crappy Eating Fest without Dickey's......ooops, that time I pushed it too far- and I thought about the time the carver at said BBQ dump gave me a brisketsandwich loaded with gristle.  And those mashed potatoes....mmmm!...... straight of a can. That was the last time I go somewhere because they have free ice cream for the kids.  AND EXPENSIVE!

Anyhoo.......go Nate's!

No, the answer is Richie Whitt's "What the What?"  Or Greggo's power dump. Maybe Elf's obscure Saturday smear.

Is the answer Jon Daniel, the king of extra time, and Wikipedia; that's been everywhere, and done everything, all the time-like CJ?

But lives by himself, cause someone would bury a 2X4 into his bald, bleding pate?
