Tomorrow at NorthPark, a Cupcake War

It's no secret I love a good cupcake. So last time I was at NorthPark center, I noticed some hard-to-miss signage promoting something called a Cupcake War. I took a photo (pictured) so I wouldn't forget. Like I could.

This is the stuff of foodbitch dreams. I picture well-dressed local lady-celebs wearing ruffle-laden aprons chucking cupcake fastballs at each other from opposing sides of the wide marble hallways of NorthPark. And while I'd much rather be proven right than wrong, I suppose only time will tell.

What I do know is that Gene and Julie from 103.7 will emcee, DJ OB-JEN & JUICE will lay down sweet tracks, and the competition will be judged by Candace Nelson, founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes and judge for Food Network's Cupcake Wars, as well as some other big names from the likes of Southern Living Magazine, Barneys and more. The best part is that the winning team of cupcake makers gets $5,000 for their partnered charity, while the losers still get a grand each. Win-win.

You know the fabulous Clarice Tinsley will likely be rockin' some badass ear candy. And the chick from Daily Candy should be looking way cute as well. Oh, and the cupcakes. They'll be looking good enough to eat, I'm sure.
