Tomorrow: Soup's On, Featuring a Load of Great Chefs and the Lady Who Wrote Glass Castle
The fourth annual SOUP'S ON! Stewpot Alliance Luncheon and art sale is tomorrow at Union Station. Jeannette Walls, author of The Glass Castle, will be the keynote speaker, and nine of Dallas' top chefs will serve up signature soups. The art sale will feature more than 50 paintings and handmade jewelry from the artists of the Stewpot Open Art Programs.

The Stewpot Alliance is a safe haven for homeless and at-risk individuals and provides basic necessities, job training, health care, legal aid an other programs for children and adults to help break the cycle of poverty and create self-sufficiency.

Local chefs involved in the luncheon are Brian Luscher of the Grape; Randall Copeland and Nathan Tate of Restaurant Ava; Bruno Davillon, the Mansion; Kevin Garvin, Neiman Marcus Restaurants; Keith Hanks, The Capital Grille; Matt McCallister, CampO; Abraham Salum, Komali and Salum; and Janice Provost, Parigi.
The reception begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased at The Stewpot or by calling 214.762.1368.
