• I've mentioned it before, but I was somewhat amused (and bemused) by personally observing that the longest line for food, by far, at the world's largest mall in Dubai, which features a good 50 food options, was for McDonald's. Whatever the reason was I may never know, but it's not limited to Americans, that's for sure.

• Fast food is my favorite thing, give me some and a smile it doth bring, I love it much those fries make me merry, thanks i'll have a coke...better make it a cherry, when I peep those double golden arches I start to break out into a SWEAT GODDAMN is what I say when noshing on a cheeseburger, there ain't a greasy spoon i've yet met of which i've hated and on this i'll place all bets, so go order some gut-bombs better make it two, a day without a dollar menu leaves me sad and blue :(

• Yup, see it everyday picking up my daughter.  My Mickey D's is raising a whole neighborhood. 

• I know, in fact, the whole malady will probably conquer the world.  There is a reason parts of the world fight the "Americanism" of culture.  Hey, some of the ideals of the American culture are good, some horrible.  My family still follows most of the old school ethics/ideals (cooking well, working hard, not spending wastefully, etc, etc.). I would be in real pain if someone in my family decided the great American way, as now presented, was the way to go.  I see dark clouds over this thing, and this no joke. We need real help here.  The signs: -zero unity in the bipartisan system -2nd tier credit rating -now, a triple digit recession -lack of work ethic -breakdown of institutions (college is becoming inaccessible, church?) Need I go on?  Fast food is just a tiny bit of the cancer, albeit very dangerous. 

• The same "malady" has hit England too.

• And unfortunately, they do.

• This is so correct; and remember, it's a choice!  Some folks don't have tons of options; for it is cheap, and fast.  Do you think someone working 16 hours a day for very little is going to come home, and whip out pots and pans, and then clean until midnight?  Nope, it's off to Mickey D's. And then you just have the plain fatasses, who don't care.  Kids are fat these days....keep an eye on your kids?  Novel, frickin' concept.  Hey, let the school raise them, let Wendy's feed them, and let an XBox teach them about how to be a stable adult.  Sounds good. Good job America!

• Obesity is just as related to income as anything; fast food also happens to be cheap. Educated people who make more money are less likely to be fatasses. But, we'll get a bunch of "blah, blah, fast food sucks, rabble rabble rabble" comments.

• This surprises anyone?  Where my brother lives, you have to travel like 20 miles for ANY fast food.  Here, I could throw a baseball, and hit a Macdonald's or a BK.  I really believe this shit will be one of the downfall's or our great society.  It drives me nuts this shit is so accessible, and that kids would/could eat it 7 days a week!

• I dont give a shit if you eat a big mac at McD's or a double at Maple and Motor, your ass is gonna get fat and arteries clogged if you aren't doing something productive with your body. too many folks try to lay the obesity problem at the feet of fast food when really its our eating and working out habits in general that suck, no matter where we eat
