Now Open: Goodfriend Beer Garden and Burger House
Goodfriend Beer Garden and Burger House has opened at 1154 Peavy Road, next to Good 2 Go Taco in East Dallas. Matt Tobin and Josh Yingling, who respectively own and manage Vickery Park on Henderson, have been working on this project for quite some time.

The bar will offer an American craft beers including Lagunitas, Stone, Ommegang and Brooklyn, just to name a few. And seasonally, or for special occasions, they'll bring in brews, like the 200-year-old barrel filled with Franconia that they tapped during at feather-soft opening for friends in July.
Burgers made with natural grass-fed beef, lamb, turkey, and black bean anchor the menu. Toppings include blue cheese that has been aged in a coalmine, harissa (Tunisian hot chili sauce), chiles, napa slaw, ginger and avocado. The most expensive burger on the menu is $11.50.
Goodfriend is open daily from 4:00 pm to 2:00 a.m.
