Lunch Becomes a Circus at Farmers Market Today

There are a ton of reason to visit the Farmers Market (1010 S. Pearl St.) today for lunch, and we're not referring to the selection of food you'll find there. The Shrine Circus is in town, and they're letting folks have a special lunch with some of the show's biggest stars--the elephants-- at the market from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet the elephants and grab a bite at Shed 2, but just make sure to wash your hands before lunch. No one likes the taste of elephant. The event is free, but if you want to ride a mammoth mammal (and who doesn't) that will cost you $5. Hopefully, Lily Tomlin won't stage a protest.
