Skip the McDonald's drive through tomorrow and head to Pokey O's (3034 Mockingbird Lane) tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for a treat that only costs $1, including tax. The dessert shop is celebrating its fifth anniversary by offering ice cream cookie sandwiches for just a buck. There are 15 varieties of homemade cookies and 16 flavors of Blue Bell ice cream to choose from to create your treat. If you're stuck doing carpool duty, make a few kids happy with an after-school treat, then return them to their parents for the sugar crash.
